Community mural at CRLS High School (2025)
This project was created as part of my collaborative work with teens at The Community Art Center as well as at The Cambridge Youth Council (CYC). The goal of the mural was to focus on the importance of different cultures that aren’t always included in the Cambridge and CRLS community and highlight the value of diversity, with people from various backgrounds coming together, appreciating one another’s company and enjoying the moment. The team wanted to work aspects of peoples cultures into the mural so youth disseminated surveys and held discussion groups at the High School to learn what was important to the community. Each panel depicts a different location in Cambridge where community members spend time, showing a personal side to the city that is often left out. The Mural is installed in the cafeteria of Cambridge Rindge and Latin School.
